Exciting and emotional this is a compelling conclusion to the trilogy starring Meggie and her bookbinder father with the power to imagine the characters of stories into life. It will appeal more to teenagers than the target child audience of Inkheart because of its dark magic and important themes which leave lots to think about. Both very exciting and very emotional, this is the sort of stylish and highly visual storytelling you just don't come across very often.
